The 55th Gable Family Reunion was held on the Schlicher Farm in Corning, PA. Opening remarks were make by President Diane Walbert, followed by the singing of "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee." The Secretary's Report was read by Ruth Gable in the absence of Tom Gable. The Treasurer's report was read by Ruby Reinik.

Suggestions were made to make a recipe book from all the dishes brought to the Reunion. It was suggested the use of paper cups instead of glasses to ease the workload on some of the women. Also suggested was changing the place we hold the Reunion.
The hymn "God Be with You" was sung and games for the children were held.
