Teh 77th Annual Gable Reunion was held Augst 6, 2000, at the farm of William and Florence Schlicher.
The meeting was called to order by President BIll Young at 1:45 PM and was held under the dining canopy because of rain. The meeting was started by singin, "O Beautiful for Spacious Skies" followed by the Lord's Prayer.
The Secretary's report was read and approved as well as the Treasurer's Report.
It was reported that the new saw horses and plastic tablecloth were donated. It was noted that the 7 remaining cookbaooks were sold and people were reminded to come out the Friday before next year's Reunion to help set up.
Abigail, Elizabeth, Tabatha and Micaiah Schlicher sang, "The Perfect 10" about the 10 Commandments.
Florence yOung read 3 stories:
1) about a SS teacher asking who wants to go to Heaven,
2) one called "Mobile Marriage"
3) story about gossip
Special awards were presented.
No births were reported.
