August 5, 2001
The 78th Annual Reunion was held August 5, 2001, at the farm of William and Florence Schlicher.
The meeting was called to order by President Bill Young at 1:55 PM. The meeting opened with the singing of "O Beautiful for Spacious Skies" followed by the Lord's Prayer.
The Secretary's report was read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read and it was noted that the balance brought forward from last year was $63.26. The collection was taken and $233 was collected.
Election for a new Games person was held and Joy Fox will be the Games person of 2002/2003.
Presentations:
Clara Masessa read a poem about wishing to live to at least 90. The poem was given to her to read by Margaret Gable.
Abigail, Simeon, Elizabeth, Tabetha and Michaiach Schlicher sang, "I Want to Be Like Jesus."
Addy Young, Avery Young and Emily Degler sang, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
The meeting was closed by singing of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
